Diner Scans Table QR
The customer points their phone camera at the table QR stand. The menu opens instantly in Safari or Chrome — no app download, no account creation.

Browse Menu & Build Cart
Guests browse dish photos, pick variations (Regular / Large), and add optional toppings. A live Redux cart shows the running total with every change.

OTP Verify & Place Order
Guest enters their phone number and receives a 6-digit OTP. Once verified, the server recalculates all prices from MySQL and creates the order atomically.
- Checkout session token valid for 30 minutes
- Server-authoritative pricing — browser totals never trusted
- Idempotency key prevents duplicate orders
Kitchen Screen Gets Ticket
The kitchen display receives the order in under 500ms via Socket.IO. Staff accept, prepare, and mark ready — all tracked with elapsed timers.
- PLACED → ACCEPTED → PREPARING → READY lifecycle
- Elapsed timer turns amber/red past prep threshold
- Branch-isolated rooms — cooks only see their orders
Serve, Bill & Collect Feedback
Waiter delivers food and marks it Served. Admin records payment (Cash/Card/UPI) and prints an 80mm thermal receipt. Diner gets a 5-star rating prompt.
